About Toni:
Toni Pratt-Reid is not a stranger to healthcare. She began working for a surgeon/family practice physician in her hometown of Estes Park, Colorado, in 1974, where her love for nursing began. She moved to Oklahoma in 1978 while her husband was in his last year of medical school. In 1979, She started her education as an LPN, then ADN and BSN, and completed her Master’s at the University of Oklahoma as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Presently she is pursuing her Doctorate.
“I have been caring for patients for what seems like my entire life.”
In 1964, she was the sole witness when her 6-year-old sister was struck by a car; she called the fire, ambulance, and police to alert them of the accident, then tended to her sister until the first responders arrived. She was awarded a Medal of Bravery. Her sister survived after four long months at Children’s Hospital in Seattle, Washington.
Entrepreneurial leadership is one of her most outstanding contributions to clinical practice building her first clinic in 2001 and expanding to multiple clinics. She developed a model centering around the patient delivering evidence-based care to optimize the health and well-being of her patients. Toni meets patients where they are, whether they seek care in the clinics, over the phone, or in their homes.
She is dedicated to the profoundly intellectual and developmentally disabled population, serving as medical director before folding them into her practice at the institution’s closure. As Oklahoma City University’s medical liaison, she developed the university’s strategic policies for Covid-19 mitigation, testing, and vaccination.
Ms. Pratt-Reid is a Family Nurse Practitioner with four decades of clinical leadership, legislative advocacy, and public health service. Toni mentors colleagues across several states, providing a business blueprint for success. Her model demonstrates over 20 years of clinical preceptorship, expanding the reach of healthcare and advancing the NP clinical practice to meet the expanding healthcare needs of Oklahomans everywhere.
Toni has been an active AONP member since graduating from graduate school. She was the 2017 AONP President and remained in Oklahoma’s policy efforts. As AANP’s Oklahoma Legislative Chair, Toni is a health policy leader, crafting legislation to advance the profession and advocating for FPA, working with commercial insurers for NP recognition.
Toni is nationally recognized as the AANP Oklahoma Liaison; she received the AANP State Award for Excellence twice for her dedication. In June 2023, she was inducted as a Fellow at AANP at the National Conference.

Biopsy Workshop (Punch, Shave & Cryotherapy)

About Tracy:

Tracy Langley has been a registered nurse for 25 years with 17 years spent as a family nurse practitioner. She obtained her bachelor’s degree from East Central University, her master’s degree from OU, and her DNP in 2014 from Oklahoma City University.

Tracy is a primary care provider for the Chickasaw Nation Medical Center. She also is an adjunct faculty at Texas Woman’s University. Skin conditions are one of the most common problems encountered in primary care. With a lack of referral resources in rural areas and the underinsured; being able to accurately biopsy a rash or a skin lesion is instrumental to helping people get proper treatment. Access to dermatology can often be challenging in rural areas. I sought to improve my knowledge and skill for punch and shave biopsy to better manage my patients with skin disorders. I now strive to help other nurse practitioners develop their skill and elevate their level of confidence to provide this same service in their clinical setting.

To help providers order the best test and to understand why one modality is better for specific complaints and discuss basic interpretation. Improve your skills on reviewing chest x-ray and for any provider treating patient with acute conditions.

• Understand the basic physics related to radiographs (imaging techniques).
• Develop a search pattern for reviewing radiographs to help with optimal interpretation.
• Learn about some of the different pathologies commonly seen on radiographs of the chest and extremities.

About Dr. Alhyari:

Dr. Alhyari is an assistant professor and musculoskeletal radiologist. He completed his medical degree from University of Jordan, his residency at OU, specializing in Radiology, and his fellowship in Musculoskeletal Radiology at Henry Ford Hospital. He is a general and musculoskeletal radiologist with experience in interpreting all kinds of radiographs among other imaging modalities.

Joint Injections Workshop

About Dr. Coleman:

Dr. Coleman is the Program Director at OU Health. As the program director for the family medicine and sports medicine program OU Medical Center, he is in charge of 38 residents and fellows learning family medicine and primary sports medicine.

He is a Professor at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine where he is the Director of both the Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship Program and the Family Medicine Residency Program.

Dr. Coleman provides medical care to athletes of all ages from “Weekend Warriors” to high school, university and professional players. He enjoys teaching, both in the classroom and clinic setting, and has given numerous presentations to on-campus and community groups. He performs multiple injections and teaches injections with and without ultrasound guidance.

Dr. Coleman serves as Colonel in the United States Army National Guard and has been deployed to Iraq, Egypt, twice to Afghanistan and most recently to Ukraine.

He’s an avid runner who is close to meeting his goal of completing marathons in all 50 states.

About Dr. Bratzler:

Dale Bratzler, DO, MPH, is a Professor in the Dept. of Health Administration and Policy, and Associate Dean in the College of Public Health, and a Professor in the College of Medicine at the University of Oklahoma (OU) Health Sciences Center. He serves in the role of Chief COVID Officer for the OU and serves as the Chief Quality Officer for the OU Physicians Group. He was named the 2016 Edith Kinney Gaylord Presidential Professor at the Health Sciences Center. Dr. Bratzler has worked in the field of healthcare quality measurement and improvement for many years. He worked on the development of national performance measures used to profile and publicly report metrics on quality of inpatient and outpatient healthcare for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. He has served twice as the President of the American Health Quality Association, is a past member of the National Advisory Council for the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ), and a recent member of the Healthcare Infection Control Practices Advisory Committee (HICPAC) for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. He received his medical degree from Kansas City University College of Medicine and Biosciences, and his Master’s degree in Public Health from the OU. He is board certified in internal medicine. He is a Master Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Internists, and a Fellow of the Infectious Diseases Society of America.

About Dr. Baber:

Dr. Baber, MD, MS, FACC, FSCAI is an Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center and serves as the Director of Interventional Cardiology and the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory. Prior to joining the University of Oklahoma, Dr. Baber served as the Director of Cath Lab Quality and Outcomes Research within the Cardiovascular Institute at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. During his fellowship training he also earned a Master’s Degree in biostatistics from the Mailman School of Public Health at Columbia University.

From a clinical standpoint Dr. Baber focuses on complex, high-risk coronary interventions. Research interests include clinical and translational projects related to bleeding, thrombosis and platelet function. Most recently Dr. Baber served as the Chair of the Clinical and Data Coordinating Center for the international, randomized TWILIGHT trial, which was published in the NEJM in 2019.

He is a frequent lecturer at international cardiology conferences, serves on the Editorial Boards of numerous peer-reviewed journals and teaches clinical trial design and biostatistics for the interventional cardiology board review course sponsored by the American College of Cardiology.

Dr. Sherisa Warren is originally from Stinking Creek, Kentucky. Dr. Warren earned her medical degree from the University of Pikeville Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine. After graduating, she completed a residency in general surgery at Garden City Hospital in Michigan. Upon finishing her residency, Dr. Warren participated in two fellowships. Her first fellowship was in general vascular surgery at Maclaren Macomb Hospital in Mt.
