AONP Board member, Mindy Whitten, has been named to the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM)
We are happy to announce that AONP Board member, Mindy Whitten, has been named to the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). Selection to the Internal Medicine Board is a significant honor as it recognizes leadership in healthcare. Participants in the Warren Clinic CPCI program submitted Mindy’s name. She was chosen from numerous applicants and is the first non-physician provider on this national Board.
Dr. Whitten, DNP, APRN-CNP, FAANP, is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner, in private practice in Tulsa, at Warren Clinics. She is active in AONP, serving as president twice; is on the Advance Practice Advisory Council with the Oklahoma Board of Nursing as the legislative chair. At the national level, she serves as AANP state representative and is a fellow of AANP. Currently, Dr. Whitten serves on the Physician Advisory Council with Warren Clinics, as well as the Quality Improvement Council, and is part of the CPCI project.
